“My aunt passed away peacefully yesterday.
I would like to thank Noreen, Ruth, Karen, Avril and Sandra and anyone
else involved in the care of my aunt last week, for your advice help and
kindness. Everyone else that visited her last week remarked on the
wonderful improvement of her person as well as her mood throughout the
week. You truly made a difference, even if it was for a short while, and
I believed she felt loved and cared for in her last hours.
I pray that your work of relieving the suffering of the most vulnerable
people in our world will always succeed and that you may all find
happiness and be free from suffering!”
“Herewith I would like to thank Selomie and “Lucy” for the Care they
have given to my mom.
Cape Care can be proud of having two quality persons like them on your
staff – they were both fantastic and we would recommend them to anyone
“Raise the flag of gratitude Team Cape Care! As an admin staff, you are
getting it so right and with the trio of Katrina, Nolu, Agnes and behind
the scenes of Freda and Khuti (sorri, cant spell), you have all done
awesome work for Mother. She sends her gratitude . I so appreciate all
you do to get things right. When Mother gives praise, rejoice. I know.
!!:-) Love and blessings. Angela”

"I enclose references for Vannessa and Vennusia which express how I feel
about the care we had from them.
Thank you for arranging that they work for us and also for the many
other really super women who came to our home.
I think particularly of Carol, Tabby and Olga...please tell them that I
shall remember them with great fondness.
carers were your frontline, but I received unfailing courteous help from
Noreen, Sian, Karen and Glynnis...And also your off hours staff who were
so helpful. Thank you one and all and I hope when my life is a little
more settled to be able to pop in and see you".

"Firstly, I would like to thank you and your organisation for the very
special way you have helped me during this trying time. Yvonne, the
carer you sent to us, couldn't have been a lovelier person. We got on so
my mother was non-responsive, and Yvonne and I agreed that after all,
this is not the route to go with her. We didn't do this without
deliberation. Since Noreen's visit, (who was also most amazing in her
support) since then, my mother has been up and about, and independent,
and just keeps saying no carer. After she met Yvonne, I have told her
(my mother), that if she doesn't want a carer, so that I can have some
time free of worry, then I am going to find such a place, during which
time I am going to have to find the ideal place for her long term."
we ever thank you enough for everything that the Cape Care Agency has
done for our family over the past four years – we are so grateful that
we found you, and we are so grateful for the day in, day out care that
your dedicated teams of nurses gave to first my mother and then my
father. There was never a moment when I had to worry that a nurse would
not arrive, or would leave without a replacement, and that peace of mind
was invaluable, especially when I was away from Cape Town so much. Even
more important, with my father’s blindness and dementia making him
completely helpless, was the fact that I could trust absolutely that he
was cared for gently and respectfully no matter what the circumstances.
I shall never forget that.
With all good wishes to everyone at the agency".
have had notification that my mom can move into Plumsteadrusoord
tomorrow. very, very sudden. I have to grab this opportunity as it
appears that we have been very lucky to get her in. She has become very
frail and it has been a terrible worry this last few weeks.
We are very sad to say goodbye to Waghieda who has been outstanding. My
mom and her developed a very special bond. Rosemary was another person
who stepped in and made my moms Easter weekend special. She was spot on
time everyday, often drenched because of the Easter rain but always
cheerful and so willing to help.,
So, formally tomorrow will be her last day and I must say it is going to
be very emotional after 25 years of caring for my mom on my own.
THANK YOU to you and your team, it has been so easy to deal with Cape
