HOME CARE
The Cape Care Agency is a home based care agency situated in Cape Town.
Home care enables the frail, elderly, or disabled client to continue to live independently in his/her own home. Depending on the individual needs and health needs of the client, care may be provided on a full or part-time basis ie. from 3 hours to 24 hours per day. Clients and carers are assessed regularly and both receive ongoing support.

AT HOME
Remaining in one’s own home with care enables life to go on as normal, despite incapacity or frailty. Beloved pets, visitors, and memorabilia all remain familiar and intact. Cape Care Agency carers have been trained to look at care holistically in the client’s own environment.
POST OPERATIVE/
RESPITE CARE
In hospitals today, patients are discharged as soon as possible. We can provide post-operative or respite care in the client’s own homes where recovery is often hastened by being in a familiar environment.

ASSISTANCE
WHILE TRAVELLING
Often elderly or disabled clients are daunted by the prospect of travelling alone and miss out on wonderful opportunities. We offer care in hotels and holiday accommodation in Cape Town as well as carers who can accompany clients on their travels.

We are very sad to say goodbye to Waghieda who has been outstanding. My mom and her developed a very special bond. Rosemary was another person who stepped in and made my moms Easter weekend special. She was spot on time everyday, often drenched because of the Easter rain but always cheerful and so willing to help. So, formally tomorrow will be her last day and I must say it is going to be very emotional after 25 years of caring for my mom on my own. THANK YOU to you and your team, it has been so easy to deal with Cape Care.
How can we ever thank you enough for everything that the Cape Care Agency has done for our family over the past four years – we are so grateful that we found you, and we are so grateful for the day in, day out care that your dedicated teams of nurses gave to first my mother and then my father.

WHAT WE OFFER

Our carers have been trained to look at care holistically in the client’s own environment. Duties range from helping with bathing and personal hygiene and pressure care to walking the dog, cooking and tidying the linen cupboard, receiving guests, etc. This enables the client to retain their independence and continue to be in control of their own environment. We believe that this is everyone’s right.
